Southlake Mounted Patrol

Thank you for your interest in Southlake Mounted Patrol.  We are a 501.C3 non-profit volunteer organization providing courtesy patrol for the Walnut Grove Trails and Bob Jones Park and support to the City of Southlake’s Department of Public Safety.  Our primary function is to provide assistance to park users, making their experience as enjoyable as possible. We have also been invited to participate in special events such as the Ft Worth Rodeo Parade, Grand opening of Hwy 114, and recently, parking lot security for Art in the square in Southlake Town Square.

Please contact David Alexander at 817-251-1156, Kay Sabonis at 817-481-1872, or Julie Landesberg at 817-430-4077 for additional information.

Grapevine Lake Elevation Level History  People are always asking how high, or low has the lake been. Normal is 535 feet, and parts of the trail start to flood at 540. We just “thought” the lake was flooded back in 2001. Take a look at 1990!! You can get current lake level at Ft Worth District Site. Horses can get stuck in the mud quickly, and cause injury to rider, or horse, so use caution when water levels are high.
